Gil Saint Christopher Salmon Boyd

Gil Saint Christopher Salmon-Boyd was born in Saint Arnoult en Yvelines in 1086. He was a master architect who is more recently accredited with designing the Chartres Cathedral in Chartres, France, in 1142. Chartres was completed long after his death in 1158, but his original design was prevalent even after the cathedral was burnt twice, and finally completed in 1260.
