Gianna Mamaril Driver is the founder and CEO of GIANNA, a women's apparel company built around ecologically conscious and fair-trade principles. Involvement in Organic, Fair-Trade Clothing Driver founded GIANNA, and its parent company Vita Gabrielli, in late 2005. The company's first collection was launched in Winter 2006, and was featured in several San Francisco events and publications. As part of this work, Driver has been involved in advocating for state environmental reforms, for example through the organization Environmental Entrepreneurs. . Involvement in Supporting Womens' Entrepreneurship Driver has been an active supporter of women-owned and run enterprises. She moderated a panel at the Wharton School of Business on this topic, and has been involved with the launch of Offerings, an online community and magazine for women . |
