Ghulam Kibria Khaki

Ghulam Kibria Khaki, is a Pakistani writer. He is the author of an Urdu book "Paiwastah Reh Shajar Sey....". This book was published from Karachi in May,2002. Dr. Mahmood Ahmed Ghazi, the then Federal Minister for religious Affairs, Government of Pakistan, sent message, which was included in the book.The book contains articles on various subjects like Islam, religion, social, educational, cultural, labour problems & their solution, autobiography, humorous etc. These articles were published in leading Magazines & Newspapers of Pakistan, in the era of 70, when Mr. Khaki was working as freelance journalist apart from his eduction from Quaid-e-Azam College of Commerce, University of Peshawar.
Khaki was born in historical city of Peshawar, North-West Frontier Province, Pakistan on 12 March 1949. Peshawar /NWFP & Pakistan are famous in all over the world, due to war against terrorism, for the last three decades.The name of the province is changed from NWFP to " Khyber Pukhtoonkhwah " (KPK, in April, 2010.
Mr. Ghulam Kibria Khaki has been retired from Government job, after attaining the age of 60 years, on 11th March 2009. His last posting was as Director (Finanace & Accounts), Employees' Old-age Benefits Institution (EOBI), Head Office, I.I.Chundrigar Road, Karachi. This Government Department provide Pension & other social benefits to employees of private organization e.g. industries, banks, hotels, stores etc.
Now, Mr. Khaki has moved / shifted to his native place Peshawar (NWFP) & by grace of the Almighty ALLAH, enjoying a happy retired life.
