Georgian Aviation University

The Aviation Institute of Georgian Technical University (GTU) has been granted the status of individual University on 1992, by the Georgian Ministry of Education. GTU is one of the oldest and largest Technical University in Europe with great recognitions across the globe. Georgian Aviation University (GAU) is the only university in the world that directly gives Commercial and Military Pilot Training and License. This will provide our Pilot Trainees, the direct experience of Piloting a Real-Modern Passenger Aircraft. This will further increase their scope of Job Opportunities in Domestic / International Airlines.

The Georgian Aviation University also have a MIG warplane, and provides the opportunity for the Pilot Trainees to learn about the Military Aircraft. This will increase the scope of Job Opportunities in Military Aviation / Airforce.

Since Georgian Aviation University is a government university to produce Pilots and other Aviation professionals, we have all type of modern equipments for aviation training. This includes Varieties of engines, radars, Navigators, Simulators, and practically every equipment related to the Flights and Aviation Industry. So the students will not only have good pilot training, but will also have a better knowledge about the Flight and Aviation Mechanics.Our University is having its own Flight Construction Industry, where private jets are manufactured. Students will have a direct exposure on this Aircraft building unit.
