George Thomas Foggin III (born 5 September 1937), known professionally as G. Thomas Foggin or simply Tom Foggin is an Associate Professor of Geography and Director of the Environmental Studies Program at the George Washington University. Education B.A. 1960, University of Virginia M.A. 1969, University of California, Los Angeles Ph.D. 1980, University of Montana Fogginisms Foggin is known among his students for his editing style which involves repeatedly returning an assignment until the student has completed it perfectly.
