George Solonos is a composer, producer, guitarist and tutor. Born in the island of Cyprus in November 19/1982, Solonos took the Diploma in Jazz studies at the Nakas Conservatoire in Athens, Greece and the distinction award for a Masters in Music Production Degree at Leeds College Of Music, UK. He has worked as a guitarist, composer and producer with well known artists around the world such as: Boy George, Quincy Jones, Vinnie Colaiuta, Chantz, John Themis, George Doering, Anthony Costa (Boyband 'Blue'), Ghetto Flex, Marina Solonos, Desi Slava (Bulgarian Diva), Natalie Press, Thodoris Karellas, Foivos Delivorias, Loukianos Kelaidonis, Doros Dimosthenous, Antonis Mitzelos and Nikos Xidis. In 2007 George Solonos composed and produced the main soundtrack song for the Bollywood movie that goes by the name 'Boomerang'. He has recorded released and to-be released music with bands including: 'the Temple of Solomon', 'Fort Nox', 'The 11th Floor', 'Samurai Trio' and 'Sulphur' (a band that has supported the UK group 'Anathema' and was the opening act for the legendary rock band 'Whitesnake' in Nicosia November 2008.) He was part of the production team for an event filmed by the Yorkshire BBC in January 2008 called 'Graham Liver Introducing, Local Heroes'.
