Geoffrey Trachtenberg

Geoffrey Mark Trachtenberg (born 1971) is an American attorney & jurist who has handled significant matters focused primarily on protecting the rights of the indigent in some of the nations highest courts. Trachtenberg is the immediate past-President of the State Bar of Arizona. He is a Board-Certified specialist in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death litigation from the State Bar of Arizona, Board of Legal Specialization. He is the author of Third-Party Interests: Liens and Subrogation Rights, a leading treatise covering third-party interests under federal and state law.
Education
Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Geoffrey graduated from University of California, Los Angeles and obtained Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in December 1993. Later Trachtenberg attended Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley and he obtained Doctor of Jurisprudence in May 1997.
Career
Geoffrey joined the State Bar of California in 1998. Later Trachtenberg joined the State Bar of Arizona, State Bar of Utah and the State Bar of New Mexico in 2001, 2010, 2015, respectively.
Currently Geoffrey is President of the Arizona Association for Justice, where Geoffrey was awarded for the Volunteer of the Year award. Geoffrey is a State Bar of Arizona Board Certified specialist in Injury & Wrongful Death Litigation.
