Gene Ho is an American photographer. He was born in 1969 in Brooklyn, New York, and he is best known for color tinting in modern wedding photography. Color tinting is an early 1940s photographic style of coloring flowers in the black and white medium.
With the advent of digital photography in the early 1990s, Ho applied this medium to wedding photography.
Since then, he had expanded his studios from his home office in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to studios in Atlanta, Charleston, and Reno. He has also been a spokesperson for the WB television station.
Ho's studio has been featured in the Atlanta Journal Constitution for his wedding photography. He has also been invited to guest speak at several colleges including the Hallmark Institute of Photography and Coastal Carolina University.
