The GeForce 1000 Series is a probable name of family of graphics processing units under development by Nvidia as a successor to the GeForce 900 Series. Architecture The microarchitecture of the GeForce 1000 series is named Pascal, after the 17th century French mathematician Blaise Pascal, and is due for release in 2016. Nvidia has announced that the Pascal GPU will feature four High Bandwidth Memory stacks, 16nm technology, Unified Memory and NVLink.
