Gattiek Sawut Gatkuoth Wichar (born 10 October 1996) is a South Sudanese public speaker and youth personality who is the incumbent spokesman of the South Sudan's Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation. Education Wichar was born in Unity State’s Koch County and studied at Rubkona primary and secondary schools. He travelled to Egypt in 2015 and graduated from Ain Shams University with a bachelor of laws. In 2022, late minister of water resources and irrigation Manawa Peter Gatkuoth Gual appointed him as the spokesman of the water ministry after which Gattiek sparked controversy when he asserted that a 21-truck convoy coming from Egypt carrying river dredging machines arrived in Unity State.
