Gail Werbin

Gail Werbin was an American film editor and football player for the Los Angeles Dandelions of the short-lived National Women's Football League.
Biography
A 1967 graduate of the University of Michigan who went on to get a master's degree in filmmaking at the University of Southern California, Werbin played for the professional Los Angeles Dandelions women's football team while editing films like Rock 'n' Roll High School and J-Men Forever. She also had a fellowship at the American Film Institute and hoped to become a director. Her 27-minute short film, Sylvia for the Lack of Love, screened at the 1977 Filmvid event in Los Angeles.
