GaiaEHR

GaiaEHR is a Open source Web-Based Software built with commercial standards. It can run on Microsoft systems, Unix-like systems (Linux, UNIX, and BSD systems), Mac OS X and other platforms.
History
The GaiaEHR project originally was fork from the popular OpenEMR in September 2009 by Ernesto J Rodriguez and Hector "Gino" Rivera, but after just a few months working with OpenEMR code, GaiaEHR developers realized that was virtually impossible to work with OpenEMR without having to re-made almost every class from scratch, in order to implement Sencha Ext JS Framework.

Architecture
GaiaEHR is a "LAMP" type of web based software application that uses a web server such as Apache, MySQL as the database, Javascript/Ext JS as its client side scripting language and PHP as its server side. As with most "LAMP" architecture, GaiaEHR can run on Linux, Unix, BSD, Mac OS X, and Microsoft architectures.
