Gag dub

Gag dub or parody dub is a term for a dub that is purposely inaccurate or irrelevant to the plot of the original source simply for comedic purposes. Plot changes and character name changes are common, as well as changes in the characters personality. Abridged Series Abridged series is a term that most often applies to internet videos of fandubs that usually mock, poke fun and/or completely change the plot, tone and characters of the source simply for comedic purposes. This trend originally began with a popular abridged series, Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abriged Series, based off of ' Since then, many anime shows have been "abridged" as well as TV series, sports, game shows, films and animated series.
