Gaelscoil Chill Dara

Gaelscoil Chill Dara was founded in 1995 by Príomide (Principal) Seán De Paor (Present Principal). It's whole criculam is in Irish (Gaeilge) in Primary, except for the English classes. The School Started out in Herbert Lodge and is now in a multi-million euro bulding which the Department Of Euducation Purchased For them in 2003, in the Curragh, Co. Kildare. The School Has Around 400 Pupils and nearly each class has two classrooms and some classes have three classrooms. Euducation Gaelscoil Chill Dara have around 25 teachers and around 18 in any one day Sports Gaelscoil Chill Dara has a Gaelic team and also a basketball team. Gaelscoil Chill Dara have won a few finals in Gaelic and also got to some finals. The have a Boys team and a Girls team in gaelic and have a mixed team in basketball. See Also
