Gaeilgeoir

Gaeilgeoir, Irish language term for a person who speaks Irish.
Definition
A Gaeilgeoir is defined as a person who speaks the Irish lanuage, either through been raised in an Irish-speaking envoirnment (see Gaeltacht) or learning it in later life. The plural is Gaeilgeoirí.
It is equlivant to such terms as Francophone.
