FX School

FX School is a private digital media institute located in Andheri West, Mumbai, India. It was established in 2009, and offer part-time certificate and professional diploma courses in photography, filmmaking, graphic design, visual effects, CG animation, game design and development, game art and digital painting, and architectural design visualisation. It is ranked among the top 10 animation colleges in India by education portal India Education. It also won the Silver award for photography schools in India at the Edutainment Awards in 2014.
Academics
The school offers training on DSLR digital cameras and Adobe Production Studio. FX School students and alumni worked on 8 films with Ram Gopal Varma including Dongala Mutha, Not a Love Story and The Attacks of 26/11.
It is the first institute in India to offer a virtual reality game design and development course. It also supports the free open-source 3D software Blender. The school is equipped with Apple Mac labs, a gaming lab, a photography/ green-screen studio, and cameras such as the Red Camera, the Black Magic and the Canon 5D Mark III.
