Funktasy is a Canadian based independent record label that was originally founded in 2010 by Amir Hoss. Its headquarters are based in Montreal, Quebec. The label operates as a music publishing house for TV and film as well as handling promotions and artist management services. Funktasy releases albums worldwide an operates across a wide range of genres. The main record label currently operates three sub-labels: * Funktasy Gold (hip hop, R&B, urban and reggae music) * Funktasy Platinum (house, EDM, dance and electronic music) * Funktasy Diamond (pop, rock and top 40 music) Current artists include Amir Hoss, AyrstoMega, Nnova, Bass Prada, Maria Masucci, and Venn. Funktasy has released music nationwide across Canada and internationally though the label has always maintained its strongest following in the Montreal region. |
