Funke is a 2018 Nigerian movie produced by Jerusalem Dzuamo and directed by Yemi Morafa. The movie that addresses the struggle of a girl child to become somebody in African community stars Jide Kosoko, Segun Arinze and Frank Donga. Synopsis The movie was set in the 1990s. It revolves around a young ambitious girl who want to be a footballer but was hindered by her father as football was considered abomination for a female gender. Against all odds, her father, her uncle and her coach she eventually become a professional footballer.
