Fun in Balloonland is a 1965 American short film directed by Joseph M. Sonneborn Jr. and produced by Giant Balloon Parades Inc.
Summary
A young boy named Sonny visits a magical place full of balloon people and animals (with fairy tale, farm, underwater and cowboy related themes) while the mother who read him a story fell asleep. The second half consist of footage of a Christmas parade in Philadelphia.
Production
The theme song is by Frank E. Conner while the story is written by Dorothy Green Brown. Filming took place in Davenport, Iowa.
Availability
It was released by Something Weird Video alongside Polly Pockets, a 1964 unsold TV pilot, on DVD-R.
