FrontEndART Ltd. is a software vendor, based in Szeged, Hungary. It was incorporated in 2001. FrontEndART explores, develops and markets solutions for source code quality management of large software systems collaborating with the University of Szeged, Department of Software Engineering. The company was founded in 2001 by a group of academic researchers, who were implementing their research in the field of source code based software quality assurance, to form a technological basis for the company. Products Two commercial software quality assurance and code analysis tools are being developed for C, , , Java and SQL source code. *SourceInventory *SourceAudit These two tools are for measuring and analyzing the software quality in different phases of the development stage. Both tools are, among other things, measuring source code metrics, checking coding rule violations, detecting “bad smells” and discovering code duplications. The products are based on the Columbus technology.
