Fridge Door Live Theatre Company

Fridge Door Live! is a theatre company for youth and children, that is based in the London, Ontario area. It began in August 2006 in the Byron region and was created and directed by Len Cuthbert.
MISSION
Fridge Door Live! Theatre Builds Confidence, Develops Competence, and Encourages Collaboration, in a personal and caring atmosphere, through the process of a performing arts experience.
HISTORY
In 2006, a Summer designed for kids with an interest in the performing arts was created. That year, about 25 grade 3-5 kids attended the two weeks of camp. In the summer of 2008, 80 kids and youth, grade 3-10 attended the four weeks of sold out camps. The camp is designed to give children and youth a theatre experience, focused on a positive moral theme, founded on basic faith values.
In January 2010, Fridge Door Live! expanded to a midweek program during the school year that offered a similar opportunity based on the same mission and philosophy as the camp. The first program took place at the Komoka Community Centre on Monday nights, hence the name Monday Night Theatre. The first two sessions ran for 9 weeks, each with a final production.
