Free Neuropathology is a peer-reviewed, open-access, non-commercial neuropathology journal. Published since 2020, the journal is edited and published by neuroscientists without the involvement of a publishing company. It does not charge authors for publication (diamond open access) and allows authors to style their articles in a format of their choice. The journal aims to facilitate scientific discussion through the publication of opinion pieces. The journal is the official journal of several national neuropathological associations. It is supported by the University of Münster.
