Frederick Jay Bowdy (born August 26, 1983), is an American professional basketball player and owner of the North Texas Fresh ABA basketball team. He is the youngest owner in the history of the American Basketball Association.
Bowdy was born in San Antonio, Texas, and was raised in Fort Worth. He was an elite high school and junior college basketball at Trimble Tech High School and Southwestern Christian College before going on to a college career with the Lamar University and University of West Georgia. He also had a short stint in the NBA Development League with the Austin Toros training camp.
