Fraze Gang

Fraze Gang is a Canadian hard rock band from Niagara Falls, Ontario. The band was formed in 2001 by vocalist and guitarist Greg Fraser. In 2008 Fraze Gang released their first self-titled album and in 2012 they released their second album entitled 2.
Biography
Formed by Brighton Rock guitarist Greg Fraser, shortly after his departure from Helix. Greg quickly recruited his former Brighton Rock bandmate Stevie Skreebs and local drummer Phil Epp to record the material that would eventually become the debut album.
Their self-titled debut album 'Fraze Gang' was independently released in 2006. In 2008 the band signed with Montreal based record label Bongo Beat Records. The label re-released their debut in 2008 adding the new song and single 'Jackhammer' which was mixed by legendary producer Beau Hill.
The band made their live debut in 2007, and for that year, Fraze Gang performed with a second guitarist, Jamie MacEachern.
In late fall of 2007, Derek McGowan (Dead Celebrity, Hexus) was brought in as their new live guitarist. He was not made a full member until the following year. Derek's history with Fraze Gang goes back many years as he had also filled in for Greg Fraser in Brighton Rock when they performed in England in 2002.
It was during that time they made a video for their song "Jackhammer", their debut single from the album "Fraze Gang".
In 2008, they made it to the first round of voting at the 2009 Grammy's in two categories:
Best Hard Rock Performance for 'Jackhammer' and Best Hard Rock Album for the album 'Fraze Gang'
