Francesca Cezan is a Dominican American actress and singer/songwriter, born in New York City, who emerged on the music scene as a Spanish Pop Rock Artist in the year 2000. Biography Cezan recorded her debut album Alma en Libertad with WEA Latina and released it in the summer of 2000. Her first single, "Polos Opuestos", was nominated for best Pop Single from the Premios Tu Musica of Puerto Rico in 2001. Cezan’s second single was "Alma en Libertad", which was later rerecorded by Paulina Rubio in 2004. After working on her first English album, her relationship with WEA Latina ended and Francesca signed deal with the independent record label Connoisseur Records in 2003. During her recordings with Connoisseur, she collaborated in Los Angeles with producers John Shanks, Matthew Gerrard, and The Matrix. Francesca did voiceover work on Spanish TV for Jessica Alba's L’Oreal commercial. Cezan appeared in the films Destination Unknown and Party Girl 1995. Personal life A graduate of New York Institute of Technology, Cezan married restaurateur entrepreneur Enrico Proietti and lives in New York City.
