History & Mission

foodboyz.com was the first of it's kind Internet publication created in October 2002 solely employing Macromedia Flash technology resulting in a website designed to explore independently owned restaurants on an international level.

foodboyz.com is an online dining guide that provides restaurant reviews, recipes, chef biographies and other features related to the culinary industry. Restaurants are featured on the website based via objective scoring of food, wine, atmosphere, service, and lavatories and graded on a rating system of 1 -4.

Website Design

foodboyz.com is an interactive website. Version 1.0 presented a website design was limited to only one city, Louisville, Kentucky. The limitations from Version 1.0 were typical of early Flash design sites most notably, loading speed. Version 2.0 dramatically increased load times and features but was again limited to one city's reviews. In 2006, Version 3 was designed using numerous components of Macromedia's products. User interactivity, unlimited in city representation and multiple functional options provide a representation of the value of Flash technology. On July 18, 2003 Macromedia Inc . recognized the website as it's Site of the Day. The site has been used extensively as a training tool for website designerrs. Website content includes information for those interested in the culinary food arts, traveling and gastronomic events. These features include but are not limited to chef biographies, recipes, menus, locations, travels abroad and special events in locations that domain exist.

Growth
foodboyz.com is the free access to all the information on the website. Subscriptions and memberships are not required to access information on the website. Contributions for reviews are accepted and approved by the editorial staff or by those representatives that review, write and publish in the respective cities. The nature of the internet allows for exponential growth of information specific to the domain.
