Following the Red Asphalt Road:Zombie Apocalypse The Musical (Jason Lybeck) is a horror zombie comedy novel by first-time author Jason Lybeck, published in 2013. The story is told from the point of view of Dan Baum, who is desperately trying to get to his mentally challenge brother in California only to find his brother is behaving as if his disability has been healed. More lays behind this mysterious pandemic than he could have ever expected.

Plot summary
Millions are dead only to find life once again but it's not all flesh driven madness. Something darker rises from within the undead taking over their lifeless corpses. The beat of millions of zombies marching across the wastelands of America fills the air there is only two things to do, sing and dance. Based of the popular book "The Wizard of Oz", follow Dan's on his journey through a nanobot infected zombie wasteland to find his mentally challenge Brother Sammy and discover why the living dead are singing and dancing. His only hope for survival is to locate his Uncle Ozzy and get the answers that can end the plague and send him home.
