Flying 101 is a documentary touching on the underground world of the slam dunk. It features a brief, but in depth look into the lives of some of the world's best, but still unknown dunkers. Training techniques of various dunkers are discussed as well. Dunkers The film's stars include: * Kadour Ziani, of France, who has performed with world renowned team Slam Nation and is one of the most widely known dunkers. Standing only 5'10" (178 cm), Kadour is still doing 360's, double-windmills and his famous 'kick-the-rim' dunk at the age of 33. He has also appeared on The Best Damn Sports Show Period where he set an unofficial world record for kicking ten feet in the air. This is one of Kadour's favorite dunks as it simply baffles most people, and though he does not actually dunk the ball, it is an astounding feat the behold. He will lodge the ball between the rim and the backboard, and then run, jump and kick the ball out. Kadour also invented the double windmill, which he stated that he originally developed on the low rim. He is a master of 360's and has been known to almost put down a foul line 360. He has nearly landed a 720, and has also been seen to do a dunk fallowing a cartwheel. * Troy McCray, an athletic college student from South Carolina who has brought with him the inception of the vertical dunk. At 5'9"(175 cm), Troy specializes in doing standard dunks such as windmills, off-the-glass, and 360's as well as others from a standstill, underneath the rim. Typically a two foot dunker, Troy can also be seen dunking off one foot. His patented dunks being the yet-to-be-seen 'Troy McCray' as well as the Vertical between the legs and vertical 540 dunks. Also known as the Knight Crawler and Kurt Wagner. Rumors are abound on the internet that Troy has hit various next-generation dunks, such as 360 rider with two hands, and double-between the legs. * Mr.Biz is a semi pro basketball player who has showcased his talent all across the world in various basketball leagues and all-star games. Biz, at 6'4" (193 cm) is a tremendously effective in game dunker, as he can put down 360's in the lane, 360's from alley-oops, and dunk on most players. His freestyle dunks include many variations of 360's, vertical dunks off one and two feet, as well has own, patented dunk, the Skid-a-mirinky-do, where a passer throws a the ball as Biz jumps up, grabs the rim, pulls himself off the rim and while suspended in the air, grabs the ball and slams it again. He has only performed this dunk several times. * David Thacker, a college basketball player who blew up YouTube with the release of his first dunk video , along with his Taking Flight partner, Mike Hachem. At 6'0" (183 cm), David's head can be seen near rim level in several clips, mainly his patented off-the-glass, one handed throw down. He is also known for his variations of 360's, windmills and between the leg style dunks. David plays point guard. * Mike Hachem, the other half of Taking Flight is a 5'11" (180.3) college student. Mike's patented dunk is his dribble-in, bounce windmill; though he still has an array of other lobs, windmills and 360's, as well as a between the legs dunk. He's been known to hit six dunks consecutively off vertical. Also known as Calf-Man, Calf Amazing.
