Flygrossing

Flygrossing, also referred to as 'Flying Grossing' is an aerial training system. It offers many possibilities, including spectacular options for performance and unique training methods for sports and activities - ranging from figure skating to skydiving. Flygrossing is a patent-protected invention by its creator Tiina Gross. One of the applications of flygrossing is grosshopping, used in screen and stage combat.
Grosshopping is a revolutionary aerial stunt combat system, created by Ran Arthur Braun, fight choreographer, and Ally McClelland, in collaboration with the creators of flygrossing, Tiina Gross and Peeter Gross. The Grosshopper system allows performers independent movement, free from external constraints. This concept combines flight and fight techniques for theatre and cinema. With this system there are no pulleys (people who pull the cables for the stuntmen to be able to jump). The system also allows more freedom of movement and turns that are not possible with other systems.
The concept is known as 'Grosshopping' and the performers using it as Grosshopper(s).
