Royal Australian Air Force; Reformed 186th Lancaster Squadron; Bomber Command RAF was born 18th April 1923 in Pialba, Queensland, Australia and died 18th November 1982 in Cairns, North Queensland, Australia. Honours and Awards *Distinguished Flying Cross *1939-45 Star *Defence Medal *Australia Service Medal 1939-45 After returning home to Cairns, North Queensland Australia after WWII Flt. Lt. Jeff Clarson D.F.C. spent the final years of his flying career flying for Ansett ANA and the Cairns Aerial Ambulance Service and he now rests in peace in the "ANZAC Gardens" Forrest View Memorial Park following his passing in November 1982. |
