FLOXCOM is an acronym of FLight Obstacles and eXtreme COndition Monitoring Software. FLOXCOM was designed to meet specific needs in prelimenary design of the aircraft takeoff and initial climb. FLOXCOM is a freeware software tool for solving an aircraft equation of motion in 2D. The program implements a modified Krenkel and Salzman approach firstly published in 1968 AIAA paper and mentioned in the work of Sean Lynn . System of ordinary differential equation is solved by adaptive Fifth Order Runge - Kutta method. The program performs analysis either for normal takeoff or one engine inoperative (OEI) or for both of them. The program can be used in the preliminary design phase or as an initial predictor of an aircraft performance during different operating conditions. The program includes thrust vectoring capability and thrust variation with velocity.
