Flannel Friday

Definition
Flannel Friday is a growing trend in America where young people are wearing flannel shirts on Friday. More and more people across America are picking up on the trend every day, with the majority including college students.
Origin
This growing trend has been traced back to Manhattan Christian College, which is located in Manhattan, KS. This centrally located campus has provided a way for the trend to spread rapidly across the country in a matter of weeks
Reason
This act has been thought to symbolize the beginning of the weekend and express excitement for the end of classes for the week. Also, note the alliteration in the title; this is another strong reason for the observance of Flannel Friday.
