Fishbowl Marketing is a provider of digital marketing for the restaurant industry, offering products and services for guest acquisition, engagement and analytics. The privately held company is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, with offices in North America and Europe.
Fishbowl's software and services drive sales through one-to-one guest marketing. Over 200 US and UK-based chain restaurants use Fishbowl's software and services, totaling more than 45,000 chain restaurant locations and 3,000 independent locations. Fishbowl's name comes from the practice of using glass jars to collect guests' business cards.
Recognition
In 2013, Fishbowl's Chief Financial Officer Kristyn Reed-Salow was selected as a finalist for Emerging Growth CFO of the Year Award by the Northern Virginia Technology Council.
Strategic Partnerships
Fishbowl partnered with OpenTable in 2010. Beginning in 2012, OpenTable replaced their proprietary email system with Fishbowl's email software, which is now integrated with the OpenTable reservation software In August 2013 Fishbowl expanded its partnership with the National Restaurant Association to provide independent member restaurants with a freemium account, with up to 500 monthly digital messages. Fishbowl is also a partner of Must Have Menus, Share Our Strength, and OTAir.
