First SHOOFtv Competition

SHOOFtv launched in April 2007 with the First SHOOFtv Competition that encouraged people to send in original short clips for various prizes and cash up to AED 250,000. The competition saw more than 2500 clips entered by people of various age groups, professions and nationalities. The winner, Marlon Mesina, won AED150,000 for his clip "Drink and Drive" through popular SMS voting. The runner-up, Ali Ghazanfar, won AED 40,000 for his clip "Mom, I Took You For Granted". The awards ceremony was held at the Majlis Ballroom in Mina Salam on 26th June 2007. See Also * SHOOFtv |
