Femi Falodun is a Nigerian marketing and communications professional. In 2017, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer, COO of ID Africa and in 2019, he was named Chief Executive Officer, CEO of the company after it acquired NET News Limited and all its subsidiaries . Falodun is recognised as one of the young Nigerians pioneering the use of technology in marketing and communications. In 2016, Falodun was honored by Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) with a Digital PR Ambassadorship Certification. Education Falodun holds a B. Sc. in Biochemistry from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and an MBA (Marketing) from University of Lagos. He earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing, CIM, UK after being conferred with membership of the institute. Falodun is also a CIM tutor and Digital Marketing Institut, DMI, trainer. Falodun was the head of the Digital Unit of Black House Media which he developed from a department to a full-fledged digital marketing, communications and technology solution company - ID Africa. In 2017, Falodun was named Chief Operating Officer (COO) Falodun at various times facilitated training workshops and masterclasses at NIPR (Nigerian Institute of Public Relations) Lagos, Social Media Week Lagos and Social4Media Masterclass. At ID Africa, Falodun led the team that developed the first Nigeria PR App and established an independent music streaming service called ORIN, which was the first of such service in Nigeria. In 2015, Falodun and his team at ID Africa launched a web App - Nigerian Twitter Map which tracks trending topics and their creators on Nigerian Twitter, to identify and categorize creative social media influencers.<ref name=":1" />
