Fedora colinux

Fedora colinux is a distribution of Cooperative Linux based on Fedora core. It is fully functional (e.g. full development tools graphical and network interfaces) out
of the box.

Features

* Full TCP/IP networking: the coLinux parasite can talk to both its host (via a private 192.168.0 loopback network) and to the Internet, if the host is networked via connection sharing.

* Full software development tools (gcc,g++,gcj,g77,gnat) and debugging tools (gdb).

* Graphical user interface: this can be delivered either by a VNC based virtual terminal server or a rootless X Windows client e.g. freeXer to the host XP system. In either case, the system can be set up to allow seamless interoperability (e.g. cut and paste between windows belonging to the Windows XP host and the coLinux parasite). The distribution provides a number of types of X window manager and also the kde and Gnome desktops.

* Additional bundled functionality, for example an updated verion of the croypid process application checkpointing utility which allows processed to be frozen, stored to file and subsequently restarted.

* Runs Windows Vista capable coLinux-0.8 with Linux 2.6.22 kernel.
