Fatjona R. Lubonja Ed.D. is the only winner of Beacon By The Sea Scholar Award for two consecutive years 2013 & 2014, and was awarded an honorary degree from ACCC college on New Jersey. . She is an active voice on bringing academia voice to the community. She is an advocate of language learning and the brain, teaching languages to children with Autism, ADHD, Bipolar and more. She offers free conferences to the community and public speaking on Neuroscience and Education: the bilingual/multilingual mind, language aphasias, impact and influence mechanisms that control language production and learning. Being a multilingual speaker, during some of her scholarly presentations she discussed Neuroscience of a Multilingual Brain, “Second Language Acquisition: The Journey of Becoming Bilingual. Visual Cortex and Creative Learning".
