Fasting (2017)

Fasting is a 2017 documentary that analyzes different types of fasting to allow specialists to give insight on the effects of fasting and how to do it safely. The documentary reviews how fasting can be a treatment for many chronic diseases such as diabetes and fatty liver disease. The benefits of time- restricted fasting, intermittent fasting, long-term water fasting, religious fasting, fasting- mimicking diet, and juice fasting was discussed. Despite all the benefits, the professionals warn against the dangers of doing prolonged fasting without medical supervision or attempting to fast with an eating disorder.
