F.C. Partizani New York

Football Club Partizani New York is an American football club, which plays in the city of New York in the Cosmopolitan Soccer League. The club was founded in 2004 as an all Albanian club but over the years has added players from different countries all over the world, such as Tanzania, Bosnia, Greece, USA, Egypt, etc. In 2010, FCPNY also added an Over-30 team that will compete in the Over-30 2nd Division.
FC Partizani NY made a good start in the 2007/08 season, getting a few positive results and defeating the league leaders United Rocklanders 2-1 away. They reached the second place in the table but due to the departure of Coach Arapi, the team suffered. FC Partizani NY finished the season in last place in Group A, with 10 points.
The 2008/09 season was the best by far in Partizani's history. The team managed to collect 21 points, more than twice the points collected during the previous season. Partizani had 6 wins, 7 losses and 3 ties. The start of the season was promising, as in the first half Partizani had 5 wins, 2 losses and 3 ties, but 4 losses in a row in the second half of the season, took Partizani out of the title challenge. However a 6th place finish proved enough for an historic promotion to the Metro 1 Division.
During this season Partizani also went through the first round of the cup after eliminating Glen Cove SC, but couldn't get past Astoria Gaels in the second round.
Their first major trophy came in 2011 when FC Partizani NY claimed the NYC Balkans Cup title. This was a prestigious tournament featuring 12 local teams, with players mainly from the Balkans. After winning Group B with 6 points, FC Partizani NY went on to knock out Bronx United in the semis 2-1 and then claiming the title with e 2-0 in the final against Croatia NY.
In the 2012/13 season Partizani participated in the Metro 2 Division of the Cosmopolitan Soccer League.
