Ev-ie

Evie is a singer/songwriter based in West London, UK. Evie grew up in Poland, and moved to London with her family aged 14. She started to take her musical career seriously aged 16. Evie was involved in a car accident, and was told she would never walk again. The time after the accident was tough and inspired Evie to write.
Music
In 2005 Evie signed a deal with Italian publisher “Head Music” for her single “I Belong To You” as featured on her debut album "Different". Most of the album was recorded at Metropolis Studios in London. The album was promoted at Virginia Fashion Week, followed by an exclusive Charity performance in New York City. Evie also appeared on Style TV in Egypt.
Evie's debut album "Different" is available to purchase on iTunes. The single “I Really Love You Baby” was accompanied by a video which was shoot and directed by Natasha Barber, a London based director. Mixed and mastered by Eryck Bry at Universal Music in New York, the single brought Evie many fans and lots of fantastic feedback on YouTube.
Evie's second album, produced by Tony White at Whiteline Studios and mastered by Matt Colton at Air Studios, London, is to be released Summer 2011. The track 'Today' features Mozez who has written, sang and toured with Zero 7. Evie has also performed a cover version of Depeche Mode's "Precious". There will also be a song on the second album called "HABIBI" which features the Egyption singer Tito.
The second album will feature 3 new music videos shoot by Natasha Barber, and also Nepalese film and video director Krishh Lama (or Simon as he is known to friends in Nepal), of eleven11 Productions.
Evie's second album will be released by Numen Records, who also act as Evie's representation.
In late 2012 Evie will release a bonus single "The Roof of the World" which is dedicated to His Holiness 14th Dalai Lama, and the Tibetan people. The song features Tibeten singer Tenzin Choegyal, who now resides in Australia. This will be an exclusive release.
Fashion
Evie has also worked with many photographers from the fashion industry, Agata Preyss, Rankin, Piotr Sikora (a photographer for MTV), Carmen Klammer, Michelle George and Caroline True, who is known for working with George Michael, the Rolling Stones Lenny Kravitz and many others. Evie recently took part in a photo shoot at Revolver Entertainment studios in Notting Hill, London.
Evie featured on Style TV Program in Egypt, and she was photographed by Agata Preyss modelling the “[http://fashionfinder.asos.com/videos/soucha-couture-(egypt)--fashion-show--2010-on-couture-fashion-week.-1714 Soucha]” collection. Whilst in Egypt Evie also gave exclusive interviews in English language magazines "Alter Ego” and “La Vive”. In June 2011, Evie was an exclusive guest at the "Soucha" fashion show in Paris.
Charity Work
Evie is involved with many charities, and recently visited Tibet to campaign against the mistreatment of Tibetans, and to free Tibet from Chinese rule. Charities Evie supports are Students for a Free Tibet, The Gere Foundation, Healing the Divide, Free Tibet, The Tibet Support Group and His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
