Eugenio Minvielle Lagos

Eugenio Minvielle Lagos (born April 26, 1964) is an experienced business leader from Mexico with a background in fast moving consumer goods across Europe, North America, South America and Asia.
Early life
Eugenio was born in Mexico, the second of four children. He attended Vista Hermosa High School in Mexico City, graduating in 1983. From an early age, Eugenio developed a passion for golf, which he practiced throughout his high school years; eventually, he became a member of Mexico’s national golf team. Eugenio is also a talented sculptor, creating his first piece in bronze during his high school years.
Eugenio received a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1986 from the University of North Texas and a Masters in Business Administration in 1991 from Harvard Business School .
While completing his MBA at Harvard, Eugenio took a summer job with Canon in Japan.
Career
Upon completing his MBA in 1991, Eugenio received an offer from [http://Procter_%26_Gamble Procter & Gamble] in Spain to work in the Marketing Group. In 1994, Nestlé Spain invited him to join their operations. There, he led the vending division of the company. Following this, Eugenio became the VP for the Food Services Division in Nestlé Mexico.
Next in his journey was Venezuela, where he assumed the position of Commercial Director positions before eventually becoming President of Nestlé Venezuela. In 2000, Eugenio returned to Mexico to serve as President and CEO of Nestlé Mexico, holding the position during 4 years.
He was acknowledged as one of the Hispanic-Latino leaders running business in the world.
In 2004, after streamlining operations in the Mexican market and hosting Nestlé’s Board of Directors, Eugenio assumed leadership of Nestlé France, the company’s second largest market.
In 2010, he became Executive Vice President of Unilever North America, responsible for operations in the U.S., Canada and Caribbean.
In 2012, Sara Lee decided to spin-off via IPO its Coffee business, naming him Chief Operating Officer in charge of Developed Markets and International Coffee & Tea, as well as member of the executive committee. Within one year of the IPO, the new Coffee DE Master Blenders was acquired by JAB, representing an increase of more than $3 billion in shareholder value.
In 2013, he founded Innit, an international company developing a connected food platform. Eugenio founded Innit with the mission to empower consumers to access better information from food to help them eat and live better. The company is based in Silicon Valley and is made up of a team that brings expertise in food science, technology and culinary arts.While continuing to build Innit’s breakthrough IP portfolio, Eugenio is responsible for the innovation, consumer and customer aspects of the business.
He has held key Board Positions in R&R Ice Cream, Pelican Rouge/Autobar, Europa Corp, the Retail Industry Leadership Association, the Grocery Manufacturers of America, the Personal Care Product Counsel, the Healthy Weight Foundation and founded the in France.

Eugenio Minvielle has 20+ granted patents, with more than 400+ claims. These patents have revolutionized the Food & Beverage and Technology industry, at the launch of Innit in NYC PIRCH store locations.
Minvielle lent his support and expertise during the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit in 2010.
He also founded the in France, whose mission is to promote nutrition, reduce obesity and disseminate knowledge by funding research and education programs.
In 2011, he also brought his expertise to address food waste at the 2011 New York Green Summit.
His expertise was also leveraged at the 2016 Hospitality Innovation Network Symposium, where the following topics were addressed: Strategic Renewal, Adaptation, Innovation and Research.
Minvielle shared the benefits technology brings to consumers, as well as Innit’s contribution to empower consumers to gain access to better information from food to eat and live betterwith President President Obama at the 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Silicon Valley.
Minvielle’s contribution to the French economy and society, as well as his reputation as a business leader and a pioneer, has earned him the respect of leaders such as Emmanuel Macron, the President-elect of France, as well former French presidents Nicolas Sarkozy and Jacques Chirac.
Minvielle’s rise to the top of the international business community has also been recognized by the French and Mexican governments. He was designated as one of the business leaders during French President M. François Hollande’s state visit to Mexico in 2014.
