Currently working at Swansea University, Eryl Zachariah Maunder is a lecturer who specialises in palliative care for children and young people emotion management, transitional care, and community children’s nursing. She has extensive clinical nursing experience, and has published many articles, including publications to the Indian Journal of Palliative Care, the British Journal Of Nursing, and The International Journal of Palliative Nursing. She is a member of several forums, including The All Wales Children’s Palliative care Forum, ACT, the All Wales Cancer & Palliative Care Education Forum, the All Wales Community Children’s Nursing Forum, and the Children’s Research Network Children in Wales. One of Eryl's most notable publications is 'Emotion work in the palliative nursing care of children and young people.' It discusses the nurse's role in supporting and caring for children and young people with life-limiting illness/conditions. She is also known for her heavy involvement in establishing community children's nurses in Wales.
