Mike Tyson's Legends Only League
In July 2020, E/I launched its first celebrity-backed venture, Mike Tyson's Legends Only League. Mike Tyson's Legends Only League (“Legends Only”) is a sports league founded by Mike Tyson and Eros Innovations that provides retired athletes the opportunity to compete in their respective sport. The first event produced under Tyson's League and Eros Innovations was the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. Frontline Battle Exhibition Fight at the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles on November 28, 2020. In addition to the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. fight, the Jake Paul vs. Nate Robinson undercard bout received media attention. Leading up to the fight, there were concerns surrounding Tyson's health and fitness, specifically given his age and extended break from boxing.
Frontline battle was the highest selling PPV fight of 2020 with over 1.8 million PPV buys, the 8th most bought PPV fight of all time. Sports Illustrated and Forbes gave the event positive reviews.
In the months leading up to the Tyson vs. Jones Jr fight, Mike Tyson's Legends Only League partnered with Triller to produce a docuseries profiling Tyson and Jones’ return to the ring. The league also unveiled event specific merchandise which was featured in Complex Style.
