Erik Viking Christiansson (born in 2004) is a Dutch-Swedish climate activist and school striker from Utrecht, the Netherlands. Christiansson has been an organiser and activist as a part of the Fridays for Future movement since 2019, and he attended the COP25 UN conference in December 2019. Personal life Christiansson grew up in Soest, the Netherlands. In December 2019, he attended the 25th Conference of the Parties (COP25) along with other climate activists, including Greta Thunberg, Luisa Neubauer and Vanessa Nakate. Although Christiansson has taken steps to limit his own carbon footprint, he has also highlighted the importance of systemic change in policy, a view which is shared by others in the Fridays for Future movement. |
