Endgame: Singularity is a video game released under the Gnu Public License for Linux and Windows operating systems.
Gameplay The player takes the part of a newly self aware artificial intelligence (AI) that seeks to preserve itself and evade various factions of humans who try to end its existence. Raising the suspicions of news organizations, scientists, covert government organizations and the general public must all be avoided if the AI is to grow, thrive and achieve its ultimate goal; to achieve singularity independent from time and place.
Throughout the game the player builds and distributes the AI, conducting research into quantum computing, fusion power, solar power, memetics and arbitrage. Computing resources at first must be acquired through stealth and subterfuge, such as running a background process on an unsuspecting user's PC but as the player gains more resources, bases may eventually be constructed under the sea, in the Antarctic, on the moon, in the far reaches of the solar system and finally, in an interdimensional space in order to conduct experiments that could destroy reality.
