Emotronic

Originally from Wikipedia · Preserved by Wikibin
Emotronic is a genre of music that fuses emo and electronic music together. The word is a portmanteau of the words "emo" and "electronic". Emotronic is similar to emo music with emotional lyrics, as it is with electronic music with instruments as synthesizers, bass guitars, and sequencer. The Emotronic subculture is recognized as a person that appreciates emo culture but is not one themselves.
