Emily Wright

Emily Wright (born July 1, 1980), is an American Recording Engineer and Vocal Producer from Wethersfield, Connecticut. Wright has recorded many artists including Kelly Clarkson, Kesha, Flo Rida, Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears with Dr. Luke.
She has and has engineered the No. 1 singles "My Life Would Suck Without You" by Kelly Clarkson,, "I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry, "Right Round" by Flo Rida, and "Tik Tok" by .
In 2009, she was working on the debut album of American singer Kesha, and worked with Miley Cyrus on the hit song, "Party in the U.S.A.", which topped the iTunes top songs.
Also in 2009 she was a TEC Foundation Nominee for "Outstanding Creative Achievement" as an engineering on Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl"
Background
Wright attended New York University where she studied theater directing before she began in music. Emily went on from college to work in sound design for theater. She worked with sound designer Darron L. West on numerous productions including 'A Spanish Play' directed by John Turturro
Emily went on to work with Dr. Luke beginning in 2007 where she begin working as a recording engineer.
