Ellie Soufi is an American/British/Lebanese singer. She is best known for her role as a British girl in the film Rise of the Guardians, in which she also gave a vocal performance. Soufi was born in Lebanon, and lived most of her childhood in England, her family eventually moved to California, where they came into contact with producer Patrice Wilson. She won her first competition at the age of three. At the age of twelve, she appeared in a television commercial for Disney's Toy Story 3: The Video Game. She later continued studies at Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana, California. She released her first single "Hysterical" produced by Patrice Wilson, who is better known for his production and the launch of the teen pop singer Rebecca Black. U4RIA In 2013 Soufi, along with Celeste Butler, Kyndall Slotemaker and Kennidi Hauck, formed the girl group, U4RIA which auditioned to the US edition of The X Factor in its third season but didn't pass through. Hauck left the group after the X Factor mishap, because she wanted to focus on sports. Soufi, Butler, and Slotemaker decided to continue together for a while, ultimately releasing covers on YouTube, like "Roar (Katy Perry), "Wrecking Bull" (Miley Cyrus) and "the Way (Ariana Grande). The group later disbanded due to conflict between members. Solo career Soufi now works as a solo artist singing her own covers on YouTube, including "Skinny Love" by Birdy, and "Say Something" by A Great Big World feat. Christina Aguilera. She plans to release more covers in 2014 and possibly a new single. She also models.
