Elise Adan is the owner of Kenyan clothing label Tullia Ltd. Born in France, Elise Adan completed a Masters in Political Science from the City University of New York in 2011. The same year, she was selected in the competitive Emerging Leaders International Fellows program of the Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society. Mrs Adan gradually transitioned to the private sector, after assignments for various institutions including the Clinton Foundation. Notably, her fashion label Tullia strives to offer a made-in Kenya, ready-to-wear product to the Kenyan market. Elise Adan received "most interactive designer" award from the Kenya Fashion Awards in 2015 for her Middle Eastern inspired, monochromic pieces. |
