Elina Miyake (born January 26, 1992) is a Japanese Canadian actress, TV subtitle translator and filmmaker based in Toronto, Canada. She appears in (2015) as an intern girl in episode 103 "Under the Mask", directed by Greg Beeman, and The People Garden (2015), starring Pamela Anderson, as a female anchor. She is also professional TV subtitle translator. English subtitles in several TV series on WOWOW, Fuji Television, Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation etc are done by her. In 2016, her producing short video, "Equals" got selected at FINPRET Festival in France while she studied filmmmaking at Toronto Film School. Personal life She was born in Okayama, Okayama Prefecture, Japan, in 1992, to her father, an architect, and her mother, a dental hygienist. Her native language is Japanese, in Okayama accent, and gained her fluent English when she came to Toronto, Canada in 2012. |
